Making bread/Caring for my husband

I'm scared...The school district is cutting positions.  If I'm cut will unemployment cover the monthly expenses?  Should I have taken the $10,000 the district offered and retired?  The $10, 000 would cover less then 3 months and my retirement would barely cover the mortgage.  Did I make the right decision to take FMLA to tke care of James following his surgery, hoping that my application for 30 sick days from the Emergency bank is accepted?  I am being docked at this time.  I've requested funds from my Life Plan that was to be used to purchase more years towards retirement and completed my own Taxes hoping for a refund  sooner than if a friend had completed them.  I am pestering VA Compensation trying to get James some VA benefits before we are in a deeper financial crises.  The creditors are calling for credit card, hospitalization, and school loan bills.  Talk about stress.  James is improving so hopefully I can return to work after spring break and if the doctor will sign for intermittent leave, then I won't be docked for any more appointments.  Maybe my paycheck will become solid again.  Michael has a cold but she is striving to meet her responsibilities...work, college, and taking care of her dad.  Nightmares have returned and falling asleep have become a problem for both of us.  Please Lord help me make a balance between home, work, and finances.
