College Tuition Fees

We make too much money for my daughter to quality for the Pell grant and the only financial aid she qualifies for at this time are loans. We are already paying a couple hundred a month paying back her freshman year's room and board, books, and tuition at Texas A & M. She was not successful living away from home due to catching the flu and colds and worrying about her father's COPD. She is living at home dealing with migraines, swine flu, a neurotic mother, and a father who is recoving from brain surgery. She was unable to attend Fall semester because she was needed to help provide 24/7 care for her father so that I could continue to work.
She takes what ever classes we can scrape payment for until her GPA qualifies her for grants. She is taking her first class at Richland Community College since her daddy's stroke during the short winter session. She is working hard writing research papers, preparing and completing tests, working at an after school program, and providing care for her father at home. See why I couldn't refuse her request for a puppy?

  1. The puppy's scratching and barking, forgotten at the door, but then this is the 10th time today he's wanted in and out. Frisky little fello in freezing temps. Chewing continues to be a problem, but we've become more adapted at escaping the biting by sticking chew supstitutes in his mouth.

Mica says she made a B+ on her History class after completing her final today. Guess that means a total of three car payments that I owe her now. I am so proud of her...I hope she can pay for the classes she wants for the Spring semester and remembers how overloaded she felt with one class, working part time, and taking care of her father and me, so she can get her money's worth.
